Cumming in the stalls

Do you really need another reason to love Alan Cumming?

Not to be crass, but his surname says it all. Cumming recently undertook an assignment for biannual man-loving art magazine Headmaster that had him photographing some of New York’s sleaziest, cruisiest bathrooms for the perfect shot (no pun intended).
 
The bisexual actor of stage and screen is popularly known for his roles as Nightcrawler in X2; as Boris in GoldenEye; and as the director of the “documentary” in Spice World. He has also assumed flamboyant, gender-bending roles as the emcee, in a revival of Cabaret, and as Dionysus, in The Bacchae.
 
Also, did you know that the work of local visual artist, photography teacher and all-around awesome guy Chris Ironside is featured in the same issue? Unfortunately, there isn’t a single store in Toronto that carries Headmaster, though like a cute guy in a dirty bathroom, this is something you’ll probably want to get your hands on.

      1. Helen Hunt. Ever since Twister people have 1) told me I lokeod like her (I don’t see the resemblance) and 2) she’s just got this sweet personality about her and I think it would be totally cool if she played me.2. Can I have cake brownies? With chocolate fudge icing…all the way!3. Wow…I haven’t been to Disney in, 10+ years so I couldn’t even begin to tell you the new rides that are there but you always have to do Space Mountain. It’s such a classic not too.4. A vet, hands down. Then as I got older and realized it would take 400 years of my life in school and a semester of Latin in high school, I knew that’s where I wasn’t headed.5. Our high school wasn’t cool enough to do these lol I played softball my entire high school years so every one always through I would end up being or going into something sports related. Is chasing toddlers trying to get pictures of them sports related?6. Barbie, hands down! My Little Pony could only kick you in the teeth. Barbie could kick your butt 7. I would try and spend it on something camera related but I know the 4 y/o would have some sort of eyelash batting or something to that effect that would make me spend it on him lol8. SUNSHINE!! I’m a transplanted FL girl but I’ve been here 20+ years from the snow and have no desire to see it again!9. To quit my day job and be able to do photography full time. April 30th is my goal to put in my notice.10. The early 70’s. I grew up in Kent, OH where the Kent State riots happened in 1970. Not that I want to be a part of the riot but I want to know what went through everyone’s head at that time. What drove them to do what they did. What made them make the choices that they did.
