Ch-ch-ch-changes!
Fab #458 marks a bold new leap for our beloved "gay scene magazine." Not only is it our music issue, but it's the premiere of our redesign!
We have a big new logo and a fresh new look, a brand-new column and new twists on some of the sections we know and love.
To help break out the new look, we chose Toronto's own Kids on TV. They have an epic new album coming out this fall. You'll also see our list of the top 25 divas of all time. That's right. All time. Get into it and let us know if you agree.
Plus: Cirque's new spandex spectacular,
Amaluna, the ferocious Angel Haze and a profile of a black, gay, Yiddish art-song singer.
Plus: Big changes for Goodhandy's and a new party from the boys of Grapefruit.

Um, as much as I absolutely *LOVE* the brilliant cover of the latest issue of FAB featuring Kids on TV , I am VERY disappointed with FAB's "Top 25 Divas of All-Time" fluff piece. For me, the ideal definition of an authentic "diva" is a complex, scandalous fusion of magnificent talent and critical acclaim, originality and ego, style and substance, drama and decadence, triumph and tragedy, influence and legacy, glory and madness and last but not least, good and evil. Mere pop stars like Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj should certainly be found nowhere on such a list until they have been around long enough to prove they are not a flash in the pan. Common sense dictates that the vast majority of people celebrated on ANY type of "all-time" list are deceased or pushing 40 at the least.
