Converse gets playful as well as fashionable

Converse has just unveiled its spring/summer 2012 collection. Fans of this shoe line know that Converse is trying to up the coolness factor. This began in spring 2011 with the John Varvatos and DC Comic lines. Aside from continuing those lines they have added a line of canvas beach shoes that are designed to go seamlessly from street to shore. In addition they have continued the momentum of the DC Comic partnership by unleashing Batman on a high-top shoe. However, the most unique partnershop this season is with music project Gorillaz. These come in Converse’s signature high-top style and will arrive in stores at the end of April. Most styles will be available at Get Outside on Queen St W.
