So when is Takei’s lunch date with Trump again?
 
The Miss Universe Organization, run by the not-so-queer-positive Donald Trump, disqualified Miss Universe Canada contestant Jenna Talackova because . . . well . . . according to the Miss Universe Organization, she didn’t tell the truth on her application.
 
Incidentally, Talackova is transgender, though she is legally female.

She would have been the first transgender contestant to participate. Would have, but alas. But you know what? Good for Donald Trump and the Miss Universe Organization. They’re just showing that an already problematic institution is, surprise surprise, still stuck in the Dark Ages, while the glamorous Talackova gets some (as far as I’ve read) sympathetic press and media exposure.
