Hanlan’s Point named one of the bare beaches

This past Victoria Day I saw a friend of mine describe Hanlan’s Point Beach on Facebook as “wall to wall gays.” Indeed, I can’t picture the ferry ride across to Hanlan’s Point without throngs of gorgeous gays in muscle shirts. I’m sure there’s a logical reason why this clothing-optional beach attracts a disproportionate number of gay men.
 
GayCities has declared Hanlan’s one of the 10 best nude beaches in the world. Before being officially declared a clothing-optional beach in 2002, Hanlan’s was used unofficially by nude sunbathers and was subject to infrequent police crackdowns for nude sunbathing. Now, however, Hanlan’s is a popular tourist attraction for naturists and beachgoers, and police and park officials work to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
 
Though fairly US-centric, GayCities' list also includes locations in Cape Town, South Africa; Sydney, Australia; and Lisbon, Portugal. Not to be forgotten is Wreck Beach in Vancouver, the second largest clothing-optional beach in North America.

      From my experience I would say the vast maitojry of the women I've met who didn't do some sort of grooming don't because they don't ever go to non-nudist places and/or they tend to be the free-spirited hippie types. (And I mean that as a compliment.) However the vast maitojry of the women I see at nudist places do shave or trim to some extent and many are fully shaved. You can do what ever you want and what ever makes you feel comfortable. Everyone will see, but few will judge or even give it a second thought as to how you choose to groom. Additionally, most beaches are clothing-optional, so you could choose to just be topless at first and then be nude if you feel you are comfortable with the way you look. Keep in mind that many of the "nudist" pictures you see on the web are staged and many of the women are models. "Nudism" as soft-core porn does have a following and like other forms of pornography, a bald pubic region is found to be desirable for the arousal of the viewer. While it is hard to differentiate at times between professional models and amateur subjects on many of these pages, if you dig around through some of the real nudist webpages you'll see women with wide variety of shapes and styles of pubic hair.References :
