Out of the celluloid closet

And into your DVD player

Some of the best movies are about LGBT characters, or feature queer subject matter. From the sad, realistic romance of Weekend to the pansexual romp of Shortbus. From the Australian outback of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert to the streets of The Castro in Milk. Documentaries, biopics, straight-up fantastical journeys; queer flicks are beautiful, campy, depressing, fabulous, iconic and any combination therein and beyond.

Gearing up for Pride, The Huffington Post has put together a jumble of queer films you should definitely see (except for Latter Days -- don’t waste your time). Watch a trailer or two, and make sure you haven’t missed a single one of these amazing films.

You know I have noticed these stand alone eoepsdis but I really don't mind them. I agree this could have been placed right in the beginning of season 1 and no one would have noticed. As for Olivia's sister and niece, I guess they finally found that place they were looking for all throughout season 1. Either that or got replaced by some shape shifter like Charlie from the first part of this season. This episode was fine for me, the effects were great, I really liked the part when the fly landed on the patients face and left an imprint in the ash. I'm sure it doesn't seem like some of this stuff makes sense just yet but as we learned from the first season, they always try to come back and tie up loose ends. Maybe this was just to introduce the CIA and their ways in the world of Fringe. By the way, if I can make it to the weekend, I think I can finally catch up on Fringe and comment on time instead of three weeks later.

I expect that Fringe will conutnie strong into the season 4. Let's only hope that FOX will remain faithful to their promise last year that will conutnie to support Fringe in the future and give us few more seasons at least. I just got my Fringe Season 3 Blu-Ray set from Amazon, so I will be watching it until season 4 starts.
