Vampire/werewolf gay kiss: Pattinson and Lautner at 2011 MTV Movie Awards

Teenage hearthrobs challenge the Best Kiss award with a little comedy

06.06.2011

Love it or loathe it, the Twilight movie franchise is not going to disappear from the pop-culture lexicon anytime soon. While pale and sparkly Robert Pattinson is the handsome choice for some gay fans, others prefer the wild antics of the often-shirtless were-cub Taylor Lautner. This year at the MTV Movie Awards, the two staged a little Best Kiss award prank that was "No Homo" enough for teenaged audiences but just bent enough to fuel gay fanboy fantasies.

it means Edward will never leave her again but i'm just not sure! If anybody knows pelase tell me!!!thanks. P.S:The pictures on the front of Twilight, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn all have a meaning to them. I think those are some really good symbols.Twilight- Stephenie Meyer has stated that the apple on the cover represents the forbidden fruit from the book of Genesis. It symbolizes Bella and Edward's love, which is forbidden, similar to the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, as is implied by the quote from Genesis 2:17 that opens the book. It also represents choice.Eclipse- The broken ribbon represents choice, as in the book Bella must choose between her love for vampire Edward Cullen, and her friendship/love with werewolf Jacob Black. Meyer also stated that the ribbon represents the idea that Bella can't break away completely from her human life.Breaking Dawn- The cover is a metaphor for Bella's progression throughout the entire saga; she began as the physically weakest player on the board, the pawn, but ended up the strongest, the queen.
