VIDEO: The Scissor Sisters want you home

New music video by the fabulous fivesome

Is it just me, or is there a definite air of melancholy around the Scissor Sisters’ newer work? I mean, you look at some of the later tracks in Night Work -- “Skin Tight,” “Sex And Violence” -- some pretty sad songs.
 
Now look at the first couple of singles from Magic Hour. I won’t offer an embarrassingly sentimental interpretation of what “Only the Horses" is about, but to me the second single/music video, “Baby Come Home,” is a tongue-in-cheek lonely alcoholic fantasia.
