Passion Pit’s latest video is trippy and queer

Can art be gay? I mean that literally: if a guy makes out with gay art, does that make him gay?
 
What can be said about Passion Pit’s new video for the second single off their sophomore album? A mustachioed security guard is on the job, he takes some pills, the art starts singing to him, he makes out with it, the art explodes all over his face.
 
The music video is the winner of a contest the band set up with genero.tv, a website that connects filmmakers with musical artists to create music videos, sometimes in a contest format.
